Our Single Farm Hydrosols are artisan distilled on the same land where the plants are grown, by the same human hands who harvested the plants. Unlike conventional hydrosols, ours are not byproducts of the essential oil making process; instead, they are distilled solely for the purpose of creating a whole plant hydrosol that encompasses the full expression of the plant, including the plant's soul essence and energy. We consider these mists topical, aromatherapeutic, and energetic medicine. 

"Forest bathing" is a natural practice with scientifically proven health benefits. It is most simply defined as immersing oneself in Nature; steeping our senses in the aromatic compounds released by the trees and cocooning ourselves in the diverse microbiome of the forest. The beneficial effect of being surrounded by trees in a forest is of great value in supporting overall health, including the nervous, immune, and cardiovascular systems. 

Our Forest Bath Hydrosol aims to recreate this experience in a mist, allowing you to ground and center yourself when you can't be physically among the trees. While this mist can benefit both the skin and circulatory pathways, we recommend using it as a body mist, a room spray, or linen spray. 

A blend of Coastal Redwood, Oak, Cypress, Cedar, and Rosemary are distilled with Rose Quartz by a biodynamic farmer, located just miles from our Petaluma Barn, who uses fallen limbs and other reciprocal harvesting methods to preserve the beautiful forest lands on her property. Ponderosa Pine and Douglas Fir are organically cultivated and distilled by a farmer in the Pacific Northwest and combined with Sandalwood from a family reforestation farm in Hawaii. 

A portion of the profits from our Forest Bath Hydrosol go to Save the Redwoods League, who actively work to protect the majestic Redwood forests of California.
